Senecio rowleyanus Family:Asteraceae. A strange member of the daisy family that grows as a hanging vine. Yes, this plant is related to daises, sunflowers, and even lettuce! The common names String of Pearls or String of Peas describes this plant well. It forms numerous thin green stems covered in round green succulent leaves. In time it will fill out a hanging basket. These stems can easily get 6' long or more. Produces small white flowers througout the growing season. Easy to grow. Likes bright shade or maybe morning sun. Prone to sunburn in full hot sun. Water only when the soil is nearly dry.
The stems root easily so if you ever have a problem with root rot or you just want to trim up the plant then put the cut stems in soil and you'll have new plants. Protect from frost.
You will receive a plant shown in the last image or one similar. Plants shown growing in a 4" pot.
