Parodia sanguiniflora Also known as Notocactus, this is a very attractive smaller cactus covered in dense, thin, somewhat hooked spines from Boliva and Argentina. The plant is globular, sometimes a bit flattened looking on top. It forms multiple heads in time but isn't a heavy clumper. The flowers are big & red to dark orange. The name of the plant actually means "blood red flowers". Requires general cactus care. Protect from frost.
