Pachypodium namaquanum A big specimen of one of the most interesting and popular species of Pachypodium. It is commonly called the "Half Man" because mature plants it kind of looks like a person with frizzy hair from a distance.  The leaves on young plants are flat but once it grows some they are wavy. Produces red and yellow flowers when mature. Not difficult to grow.  Experiences light frost in its native South Africa & Namibia, but any hard frost can kill it.  It is something of a winter grower often growing in cooler weather and going dormant in summer. Though it can be a fickle plant and can be growing or dormant at any time of year.

You will receive the plant shown in the images. Plants shown in a 6.5" pot.

Important Shipping Information

  1. PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply.
  2. Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
  3. No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though.
  4. Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.

Thank you!
