Pachypodium brevicaule Family: Apocynaceae. The smallest and most unusual of all Pachypodiums.  It only grows a few inches tall but spreads horizontally forming a clump a foot or more across in time.  The flowers are yellow.  This is a slow growing species, but a very rewarding one to grow.  Not difficult to grow.  Can survive temps down to (but not below) freezing, but prefers it a bit warmer in winter if possible (that is true for all Pachypodium).  Likes water during the growing season as long as it is in well drained soil.  Should be kept fairly dry in the winter, especially after it drops its leaves.

Plants are seed grown and on their own roots.

You will receive a plant shown in the last image. Plants shown in a 3.5" pot.

Important Shipping Information

  1. PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply.
  2. Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
  3. No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though.
  4. Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.

Thank you!
