Oxalis gigantea The largest shamrock species! This is an unusual species from Mexico that forms woody stems and can become a shrub several feet tall. In a pot it can be trimmed to be a manageable size.  The stems are covered in glossy semi-succulent leaves during the growing season. Leaves mostly drop in the summer dormant period. Makes yellow flowers during the growing season.  Easy to grow.  It is a winter grower so water regularly (in succulent terms) from fall until spring, then cut back or stop all together in the summer.  It usually drops its leaves during the dormant period. The growing season is roughly September to May (but can vary).  Protect from frost.

You will receive a plant shown in the last image. Plant shown in a 3.5" pot.  These are rooted cuttings from a single large plant.

Important Shipping Information

  1. PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply.
  2. Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
  3. No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though.
  4. Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.

Thank you!
