Mammillaria bocasana cv. 'Red Fred' A red variant of the cute and weird Fred monstrose form. It forms a lumpy, spineless red and green mass that grows over time. Takes normal cactus care except it is more sensitive to overwatering than most and may be sensitive to excessive hot sun. However, you do need good light to bring out the red highlights.  Water when the soil dries out in the summer and keep drier in the winter.  Protect from frost.
