Lithops salicola v. malachite Family: Aizoaceae.   A rarely seen emerald green form of this nice living stones that normally has gray to brown mottled leaves.

Lithops have an undeserved reputation for being difficult.  The really aren't as long as you pay attention to its particular needs. Unlike most plants Lithops have two growing seasons and two dormant seasons per year. Overwatering is the biggest risk in growing these plants. Give water as the soil is about to dry out in the spring through early summer, and in the fall.  Keep dryer in the winter and in very hot summer weather. Hot weather makes them and most mesembs go dormant, and wet roots during dormancy can lead to rot. Protect from frost.

Please note: This is a 3 headed plant. I cannot guarantee it will stay 3 headed. Often they revert to normal the following year. I am only charging a little more compared to the two leaf form for this reason. You may luck out and it is a true 3 leaf form or it may revert to two leaves in a few months.
