Huernia procumbens An attractive species with shooting star yellow to pink flowers. The plant is small but clumps readily. Flowers are most common and numerous in the late summer and fall but can bloom any time of year if happy. In higher light these plants can take on purple highlights, in shade they are green. They can take some direct sun, but aren't full sun plants. These flowers have no strong scent. Takes normal succulent care. Avoid hot afternoon. Protect from frost. Keep very dry in the winter unless you have good growing conditions. Can be quite rot prone if kept too moist especially in the winter.
This specimen is an otherwise normal plant that is starting to produce a crested stem. You can leave it attached or you can separate and root it to create an all crested specimen, though I'd let the crested stem grow bigger first.
You will receive the plant shown in images 1-3. Last image shows the flower. Plant shown in a 3.5" pot.
Important Shipping Information
- PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply.
- Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
- No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though.
- Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.
Thank you!
