Gymnocalycium friedrichii Agua Dulce LB2178 A gorgeous Gymnocalycium that is dark orange to purple red in high light, bright green in lower light. This is the rare selected form that is known for very prominent ribs and distinctive horizontal striping. High light and keeping the plants on the dry side is needed to maintain the color at this level, otherwise it will become more green. Flowers are a pretty pink color. Mature plants are usually around 4-5" wide. Takes normal cactus care. Protect from frost.
