Euphorbia ankarensis Family: Euphorbiaceae. A rarely seen species from Madagascar. This is part of the same group of leafy succulent Euphorbias as E. neohumberii, E. vigueri, & E. milotii (which it most closely resembles). The leaves are green, sometimes with red highlights. The leaves are sometimes hairy beneath. The stems are thornless. Over time the stem will get taller and taller and will branch from the base and occasionally from the stems themselves. Similar care to the other leafy Madagascar species. Water regularly in summer, keep dry in winter when it drops its leaves. Protect from frost.
You will receive the plant shown in the last image. Plant shown in a 4" pot.
Important Shipping Information
- PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply.
- Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
- No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though.
- Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.
