Echinocereus pulchellus v. acanthosetus Family: Cactaceae. An interesting globular species of Echinocereus with prominent ribs and a prominent tap root. Most species (like. E. rigidissimus or E. reichenbachii) are short columnar with no ribs. The plants have dark green ribs and a lighter, more mint green, body, especially when young. It almost looks variegated, but technically it isn't. Forms clumps in time and makes big pink flowers in the summer. Takes regular cactus care. Can take light frost but protect from hard freezes.
You will receive a plant shown in the last image or one similar. Plants shown in a 4" pot.
Important Shipping Information
- PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply.
- Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
- No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though.
- Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.
