Dudleya gnoma Family: Crassulaceae.  A very rare species known from a single location on one of the Channel Islands of California. This is a small branching species with white leaves. The white color is actually a waxy powder produced by the plant. It comes off very easily if the leaves are touched. Best to touch the leaves as little as possible.  Easy to grow. Likes lots of sun. Can take light frost, but protect if temps will be below the upper 20s. Will clump heavily in time.

Dudleyas are very similar to Echeveria but are WINTER GROWERS. That means it should be watered regularly (don't keep it wet though) in the fall through spring but kept dry in the summer (maybe a little water once a month or so). Watering regularly in the summer will lead to rot.

These are seed grown nursery produced plants.

You will receive a plant shown in the last image. Plants shown in a 3.5" pot. Please note that some of the white powder will come off in shipping. That is unavoidable. New growth will be white again in time.

Important Shipping Information

  1. PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply.
  2. Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
  3. No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though.
  4. Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.

Thank you!
