Cyphostemma juttae This grape relative is an amazing caudiciform with big green glossy leaves and red fruit. The caudex is fat with peeling white to brownish skin or bark. A mature caudex can reach 2' tall by 1' wide as a pot grown plant. In warm, dry climates like California this can even be a landscape plant eventually reaching upwards of 5' tall and 2-3' wide at the base! Easy to grow. Likes a fair amount of water during the summer (try not to let the pot dry out, but don't keep it wet either as it is a succulent). In the winter it will drop its leaves and become dormant. Keep it pretty dry until it starts growing again. Can take light frost, but best to protect it from frost if possible.
You will receive the plant shown in the images. It is shown in a 6.5" diameter pot.
Important Shipping Information
- PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply.
- Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
- No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though.
- Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.
Thank you!
