Crassula orbicularis Family: Crassulaceae. An attractive species with flat green leaves with fringe. The leaves are stacked on each other and look a lot like a small Aeonium. It stays compact but branches regularly in two distinct ways. First, it forms new rosettes right from the base, making a clump. Second, it produces offsets on stolons (stalks) that look like little green spiders on webs! Flowers in winter or early spring. Not difficult to grow, just avoid overwatering, especially in summer as this is a winter grower. Protect from hot afternoon sun and freezing temps.
