Mammillaria theresae Family: Cactaceae. A rarely seen species closely related to M. leuthyi and M. haudiana. It is a small clumping species with very attractive spines at the end of each tubercle. They look like little umbrellas. Plant stays low and spreads very slowly. Flowers are purple-pink. Not difficult to grow, but is more fussy than a lot of Mammillarias and is a slow grower. In particular it is sensitive to overwatering, especially in the winter. Keep on the dry side an you should be ok. Protect from frost.
This plant is on its own roots and has 5 stems.
You will receive the plant shown in images 1 & 2. Plant shown in a 2" pot. Last image shows the flower.
Important Shipping Information
- PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply.
- Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
- No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though.
- Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.
