Gerrardanthus macrorhizus Family: Curcurbitaceae. An attractive East African caudiciform vine related to cucumbers. It makes glossy green leaves on long vines. The caudex is rounded and can become very large in time. The vines are evergreen if given proper care. Produces small yellow flowers in the summer. Likes water during the growing season (but don't keep it too wet). Keep dryer during hot spells. The leaves and vines are fine in full sun, but the caudex could get sunburn in harsh summer sun. As it comes from tropical Africa it prefers to be kept at 50 degrees or more year round.

Important Shipping Information
- PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply.
- Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
- No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though.
- Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.
Thank you!
