Drosera binata Family: Droseraceae An unusual looking sundew that is easy to grow. It is known as the "Fork Leaf Sundew" because the leaves are on a long petiole (stalk) that splits into two lobes covered with sticky glands. This is the standard form of the species so the leaves only make the two main lobes. It does not fork further like some varieties do. One great thing about this form is it sets seeds and forms new plants quite easily. Takes standard carnivorous plant care. Place in a tray of distilled water and give it plenty of light. Never let the plant dry out. Will go dormant in the winter if conditions are cool. Protect from frost.
You will receive a plant shown in the last image or one similar. Plants shown in a 4" pot. Plants will be sent bare root but will wrapped to keep them moist.
Important Shipping Information
- PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply.
- Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
- No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though.
- Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.
