Cheiridopsis peculiaris The most unusual (peculiar?) species of Cheiridopsis. This species has two flat, nearly triangular leaves blue-green leaves and big yellow flowers. It is a winter grower so leaves form in late summer to early fall and persist through the spring. Then in late spring or early summer the leaves will die back and the plant will go dormant. It may look dead but isn't! Will clump in time. Easy to grow. As a winter grower it likes more moisture in the fall through spring, then keep it dry in the summer. Protect from frost.
You will receive a plant shown in the last image or one similar. Plants shown in a 3.5" pot.
Important Shipping Information
- PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply.
- Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
- No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though.
- Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.
