Aloe cameronii Mt. Zembe Family: Xanthorrhoeaceae.  A beautiful rarely seen form of this species. Originally collected by a friend of mine (legally!) this variety is from Mt. Zembe, Mozambique and differs from the normal A. cameronii in having much darker and redder leaves (when in full sun) and more spacing between the leaves. This spacing shows off the most interesting part of the plant, the petioles or leaf sheathes of the plant which are a beautiful mix of red and white. Like the regular A. cameronii this plant has stiff long toothed leaves and clumps readily. Leaves can be a foot long or more.  Easy to grow. In frost free regions it makes a great landscape plant. But it makes an equally good larger potted plant.

Plant has best color in high light. Will turn greenish in lower light. If your plant is greenish on arrival then give it good light and it will become deep red. Takes regular succulent care. Protect from frost.

You will receive the plant shown in the last image. Plant shown in a 4" pot.

Important Shipping Information

  1. PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply.
  2. Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
  3. No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though.
  4. Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.

Thank you!
