Albuca polyphylla Family: Asparagaceae. An attractive succulent bulb from South Africa long thin leaves. The bulb forms new bulblets regularly. You can leave them together to make a big clump or separate them to make new plants. In time you will get a hundred or more bulbs from one plant! Flowers are white and green and most commonly form in the spring. Easy to grow. It is a winter grower, which means it will grow from fall to spring and is semi-dormant in the summer so don't be surprised if the leaves die back a bit, but it isn't a species that normally goes fully dormant. Water regularly (in succulent terms) from fall until spring, then cut back some in the summer. Protect from frost.
You will receive a plant shown in the images or one similar. Plants shown in a 3.5" pot.
Important Shipping Information
- PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply.
- Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
- No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though.
- Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.
