Albuca albucoides Family: Asparagaceae. A rarely seen species of this interesting genus of winter growing bulbs. The leaves are short and thin with a distinctive groove down the center. Interestingly the leaves lay flat during most of the winter growing season but then put on a late season burst of growth in the spring around flowering time. At that point they leaves become more upright. After flowering the plants go dormant for the summer and die back to to the bulb. It will regrow starting in the late summer or early fall. Bulbs divide readily so you'll usually end up with several new plants by the end of each growing season. Easy to grow. During the fall through spring growing season water regularly. Keep dry when it goes dormant. Needs good light for the leaves to lay flat. Low light will cause them to grow more upright. Protect from frost.
You will receive a plant shown in the last image or one similar. Plant shown growing in a 3.5" pot.
