This is an activated 96 hour heat pack intended for inclusion in Kyle's Plants shipments to cold weather areas. These are NOT for sale on their own and will be activated when the order is packed. I will not sell these on their own for future use because I am selling them at cost as a courtesy to customers in cold regions.
I'm often asked "Do I need a heat pack"? The decision is yours but I do not guarantee plants against cold damage if you choose not to include a heat pack.
I recommend them if you expect the temperatures in your area to be at or below freezing in the week or so following the placement of your order, especially if there is a chance the box will sit on your front porch or a USPS loading dock for long enough that it could freeze. I'm in Southern California so temps on my end aren't cold enough to worry about, it is where you are that matters.
These heat packs are not magic. They will not protect the plants from extreme cold, especially if left outdoors for extended periods. It is intended to keep the plants warm enough to survive moderate cold while sitting on your porch or on a loading dock for up to several hours.
