Nananthus margaritifera An uncommonly seen little clumping Mesemb with gray mottled leaves. In the right conditions (good light or slight stressing) it will take on a orange or yellow tinge at the leaf bases. Flowers yellow. Easy to grow. It is a winter grower so give it more moisture in the cooler months and hold back on the water in the summer. Readily forms clumps. Protect from frost.
