Monadenium ellenbeckii An unusual species very closely related to Euphorbia. The stems green to yellow green with attractive striations or wrinkles. The flowers are yellow. Leaves take on a reddish color in high light. The leaves drop readily in the winter or during stressful times in the summer, but grow back quickly once the plant is actively growing again. Takes normal succulent care (lots of light, keep on dry side). Drops its leaves in the winter and should be kept drier at that time. Does best if kept above 50 degrees but isn't absolutely required. Protect from frost.
You will receive one of the plants shown the last image. They are shown growing in 3.5" pots. They are very small plants.
