Mammillaria guelzowiana Lau 640 Family: Cactaceae. Probably my favorite of all Mammillarias! It has wooly white hair and big magenta flowers. These are some of the prettiest flowers in the genus and the plant is quite attractive even when not in flower. This form has NO SPINES. It is much more pet-able than the normal form. Takes normal cactus care except it is more sensitive to overwatering than most. Water when the soil dries out in the summer and keep dry all winter. Protect from frost.
You will receive a plant shown in the last image or one similar. Plants shown in a 3.5" pot. Note the flower picture is of the normal (spiny) form. We don't yet have a good picture of the Lau 640 in flower. The flowers look exactly the same.
