Cissus tuberosus Family: Vitaceae. This grape relative is an interesting caudiciform with long stiff stems with fat bases that get fatter over time. The plant grows as a vine and the caudex will get several inches thick in time. A mature plant can be raised to show off the woody roots too. Easy to grow. Likes a fair amount of water during the summer (try not to let the pot dry out, but don't keep it wet either as it is a succulent). In the winter it will drop its leaves and become dormant. Keep it pretty dry until it starts growing again. Protect from frost.
You will receive a plant shown in the last image or one similar. Plants shown in a 3.5" pot.
Important Shipping Information
- PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply.
- Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
- No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though.
- Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.
Thank you!
