Phyllanthus mirabilis Family: Euphorbiaceae. A native of Thailand. This is a big specimen of this wonderful woody caudciform related to Euphorbia. The caudex is woody and irregularly shaped. Often the caudex is biggest below the soil. It produces long compound leaves with hairs. The new growth is a beautiful red color when young but matures to green when fully expanded. The caudex will continue to enlarge and it the long stem on this specimen should continue to get even longer. The flowers are tiny and, unusually, produces on the leaves (Phyllanthus means "leaf-flower"). When it goes dormant keep dry over the winter then water again when it warms up in the spring. Should be able to take full sun, but watch for sunburn until it is acclimated to your situation. During the growing season water regularly. Protect plant from temperatures below 50F.
You will receive the plant shown in the images. Plant shown in a 6" pot and is approximately 12" tall with a 4" diameter caudex.
Please note that the plant is dormant now and may have few roots when it arrives. It will root and leaf out in the spring.

- Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
- No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. - Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.
