Aside from the color, this variety is known for having a short stocky caudex and many short branches.  It produces large roots that can be raised when the plant is larger. Flowers are pink. Can become quite large in time. Easy to grow, but requires warm temperatures in the winter (minimum of 50 degrees).  When in leaf water regularly but don't let the soil stay wet.  Keep fairly dry in the winter or whenever it drops its leaves. Likes full sun in humid regions (i.e Eastern US) but protect from hot afternoon summer sun in arid areas. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e\n\u003cspan\u003eSkin color varies between individuals (they are seed grown) and depends on light levels.
