Anacampseros arachnoides Sometimes considered an Avonia, this unusual succulent is known for its dark green to black leaves that are covered in spider web like hairs (hence the name "arachnoides"). The color seems to depend on light and the time of year with best color coming in higher light cooler temps. It forms multiple stems that creep along the ground. Will produce pink flowers on long stalks off and on throughout the growing season. These flowers open in the late afternoon or evening.  Easy to grow. Give normal succulent care. It is rot prone if kept too wet, especially during the heat of summer. Should that happen just replant the healthy part of the stem and it will root. Is more shade tolerant than most succulents (though it still needs good light).

You will receive a plant shown in the last image. It is shown  growing in 3.5" pots.

Important Shipping Information

  1. PLANTS ARE SHIPPED BARE ROOT If you want me to send them in pots send me a message to discuss. Extra charges due to increased shipping costs will apply.
  2. Immediate Payment (eBay only) Sorry! I can no longer offer a delayed purchase option as the multichannel inventory management system I have started using requires this setting.
  3. No Delayed Shipping (eBay only) Once you pay I have to (and WILL) ship within 3 business days or eBay will lower my seller rating. I used to have a way to delay shipping but can no longer do this for the same reason as #2 above. Feel free to message me before buying to see if we can figure something out here, no promises though.
  4. Winter Shipping If you live in a cold climate consider including a 96 hour heat pack in your order during the cold months. I have them as a listing. Just add it to your order. If you don’t see them just message me.

Thank you!
