April update

Hi everyone,

Spring is here. That's great! We are all stuck in our homes trying to avoid a global pandemic. That's not so great. I hope all of you are taking care of yourselves and your loved ones. A special thank you goes out to everyone still working to keep essential services open, especially our health care workers.

Operations are proceeding as normal at Kyle's Plants. I am managing operations on my own and only selling online at this time. This allows me to keep my business open without endangering myself or others.

As for the website, it is still new and a work in progress but a few changes should appear in the near future. The most significant change will be the addition of categories. Right now all the items are listed together in one big group. That option will remain, but I think it will be easier to find what you want if the home page lists distinct categories like Cacti, Euphorbia, Aloes, Caudiciforms, etc.

I hope to soon start offering website exclusive plants. The first of which will be Euphorbia francoisii hybrids and Asian caudiciforms. I have somewhere around 200 E. francoisii plants right now and usually only list 10 or so on ebay. I soon plan to photograph and list here all of these plants in saleable condition while only a token amount will be cross listed to ebay.

In regards to shipping cost, I think my current settings are allowing me to give better rates in most cases than on ebay. But further adjustments may be needed to ensure that the price you are charged is in line with my actual shipping costs. I don't want to overcharge you on shipping and I don't want to lose money on it either. Your feedback on this is very welcome and if you feel you were overcharged for shipping please send me an email. I'll look at your order and if what you were charged was significantly different than what it cost me to ship I'm happy to refund the difference.
